Overview:
The pool will be played in "quarters," each 4 week period being a "quarter." The Last "quarter" will have 5 weeks in it because of the 'bye' week. Anyone is welcome to join at the start of any quarter. Fill out sign up form and we will return an activation email letting you know you are all set to begin. Picks are due each week 1/2 hour before the first game of the week begins which is on THURSDAY NIGHT. If your picks are not turned in by game time deadline, THEY WILL NOT BE COUNTED AND YOU WILL GET A SCORE OF ZERO FOR THAT WEEK. If you forget to make your picks by Thursday you can contact me and I will enter your winners to your account (less the Thursday night winner). You can change your own picks for any game at any time prior to the start of the week (Thurday night). Any game that ends in a tie will not be counted for in that week's score (see below).

To Play:
Choose the team you think will win in each game - there are no point spreads or confidence choices. If You pick all the winners correctly for that weeks games, you have earned a "NATURAL". If you (or someone else) earns a Natural, that player wins the pot, which could be as much as a 5 week total. If nobody gets a natural for that week the pool rolls over to the second week, then the third week, etc. If you do not get a NATURAL, your game is not over. If no one gets a NATURAL, a cumulative score is counted for each players. If by the end of the quarter nobody has earned a NATURAL, the highest "cumulative" win count for the quarter wins the pool. If somebody wins on a Natural, cumulative scoring starts over the next week. Any ties (Natural or cumlative) will split the pot.

A NOTE about ties:
With the NFL re-instituting the possibility of a tie, we have concluded that since a tie is not a win, no point will be awarded for that game. This means, that if there is a tie during the week, no one can score a Natural which is defined as choosing all games correctly. So in order to score a Natural, you must get all the games correct and hope that there is not a game that ends in a tie during that week.

Upfront fees/services
Many pools take a percentage of the pot for a service fee and some don't even tell you that there is a fee at all. While we do have a "fee", (deducted from the pot at the end of each quarter) the fee is only to cover the cost of the domain, and internet services.

That's all there is to it. Good luck.
